Carly the Cat needs a home

Carly is such a precious little kitty! She is affectionate and playful and loves to curl up in your lap. Carly was found as a street kitten. She and her siblings, Clara and Cooper (also in our care) were born with congenital eye conditions known as Eyelid Agenesis (the improper development of the eyelids) and Entropion (the curling of the eyelids inward). These conditions often cause mild to severe irritation to the eyes due to dryness, and from the eyelashes and other debris coming into frequent contact with the eyeball. Carly had surgery as a kitten to alleviate the problem; However, recently she experienced some complications that required further surgery. She now requires that eye drops be placed in her eyes frequently to prevent further ulceration of the corneas. Regular veterinary check-ups will be necessary in order to monitor the condition.
